St Hilaire du Touvet Downhill Skiing
St Hilaire du Touvet and its sister resort of the Col de Marcieu are ideal spots for family skiing and where better to have lunch or just stop for a coffee than the Grange aux Loups right at the bottom of the ski runs?
St Hilaire may not be the biggest resort in the Alps but the scenery is possibly the most spectacular. The ten runs offer 400 meters of vertical through scented pine glades. The Alps stretch out in front of you, from the mighty summit of the Mont Blanc to the wild peaks of the Belledonne mountains. Behind the magnificent yellow limestone walls of the Chartreuse protect the ski area from the prevailing westerly winds.
The ski area is served by five drag lifts including a beginners zone with two green runs, three blues and five red pistes. Natural snow is complemented by 23 snow canons.
